Amphora Reserva Tempranillo 2021
The 2021 vintage is a blend of two Tempranillo clones, Requena and Clone 98. It was aged for 12 months in a combination of new and used French oak barriques and puncheons before bottling. After bottling, the wine is rested and cellared. Can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 10 years.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Deep purple-red
Aromas: Lifted, bright and complex aromatics. Rose petals, violets, black berries and cassis. Hints of cardamon and green peppercorn spice.
Palate: Exceptionally fine and silky tannins greet the palate carrying bright, opulent fruit. The palate is contained yet bursting with a range of juicy and earthy fruit characters. Musky rhubarb, dark chocolate, raspberries and violets. Luscious and youthful, will age and develop beautifully.
