For our Zebbie.

Our Zebbie Chardonnay is a combination of French and Gingin clones, all grown in the Ferguson Valley. Fruit parcels are hand selected by the winemaker’s from the vineyard, handpicked, crushed and soft basket pressed off into 100% new French oak barriques and 50% in puncheon where wild fermentation takes place. The wine is matured for 10 months before bottling and can be cellared for 5-10 years.

TASTING NOTES:

Colour: Golden Straw

Aromas: Lifted and complex with great intensity. Notes of hazelnuts, cardamon and jasmine. Hints of citrus and honeydew, all washed over river stones.

Palate: Generous, good intensity and focus. Oak is apparent but well integrated, assisting with structure alongside a lively acid. Complex and juicy with a grapefruit flesh and pith, melon and black jellybean. Beautiful savoury and long finish leaves the palate salivating for more.
